Richard Rainey, Principal
Richard Rainey founded Richard Rainey Architects in Kinsale in 1992. Since qualification he has thirty years of experience, twenty of which have been as the principal of his own practice, both in Ireland and abroad.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors of Architecture, University of Natal, RSA 1965-1970
- M.Sc. In Environmental Conservation, Herriot-Watt University 1972-1973.
- R.I.B.A. Full member 1980.
- M.R.I.A.I. Elected Member 1992.

Airi Rainey, Director
Airi Rainey is a director of the company since it was founded in 1992.
Qualifications :
- Degree in Interior Design, University of Helsinki, 1972-1976.
- Proficient in 3D Illustration and Architectural Design.
Geraldine Coughlan, Director
Geraldine Coughlan joined Richard Rainey Architects in May 2002. In April 2006 she became Director of the company.
Qualifications :
- Dip. in Arch. B.Arch Sc., Dublin Institute of Technology, Bolton Street 1997 - 2002
- Sustainable Building & Environmental Design Course, 2004
- M.R.I.A.I. Elected Member 2006.
Stephanie Harrington, Office Manager
Stephanie Harrington joined Richard Rainey Architects in January 2006 as Office Manager.
Qualifications :
- Hons Bachelor of Business Studies (ACCS), Cork Institute of Technology, 2005-2007.
- Diploma in Business Studies (ACCS) Cork Institute of Technology, 2004-2005.
- Certificate in Business Studies – Office Information Systems, Skerry’s Business College, 1998-2000
