Feasibility study for an office building on Gouldshill, Mallow, Co. Cork
Description :
The initial concept for the site and the building is based on a sustainable design approach. Two 60m long blocks are connected with a central atrium, which is the driving environmental force for the building and obviates the need for a mechanical air-conditioning system. Through the combination of a shallow-plan office layout and high office ceilings for the two blocks, natural ventilation can be achieved and natural daylight maximised.
