The Masterplan which is prepared for a part of the Blackpool area in Cork reflects the zoning objectives as tabled in the Cork City Development Plan 2004 and as per the two draft development plans, the Local Area Development Plan and the Draft North Blackpool Framework Plan. It provides the overall suggested strategy and vision for the area. It takes into account the history of the site, the topography and reflects existing heights in the vicinity, thus integrating it into the overall urban context.
